We engaged Colleen and Byron as buyer's agents. I highly recommend them. They were very systematic in helping us decide what features we wanted in our house. With their help we completed a several page questionnaire that set the guidance and guard rails for our search criteria. They were on it: being aware of listings right as they hit the NWMLS, visiting houses before we did to let us know if we should even bother to inspect, and being very responsive. As our search progressed, we learned more about what criteria were more important than others. They were very understanding as we adjusted - i.e., moved the goal posts. Last, they gave great advice and guidance on how to structure our purchase offers. This was instrumental to our success in winning the bid for the house "we had to have".

Colleen and Byron are terrific! They just sold our Magnolia Village residence in record time. We are so pleased with both the process and the results. Their marketing expertise and strong local connections are evident at every step. We put the condo on the market right before leaving for a three week trip,so there was a certain amount of stress on our part to get things ready. No matter how stressed we were, Colleen and Byron were calm, collected and supportive. The day before we left we ran out of time. Colleen told us to pack our suitcases and get on the plane - they would take care of the rest! And they did! We got a full price offer while we were still overseas and were able to close when we got back. Moving to our new place was a seamless transition with the movers Colleen recommended. This is the second transaction in which we've worked with Colleen, and the first working with both Colleen and Byron as a team. Colleen sold us our house in 2017 and in 2025 she and Byron helped us sell it. From start to finish through the entire process of selling our home, we were so happy with Colleen & Byron! Their real estate services are truly full service - we were so happy and sometimes surprised at how thoughtful and attentive they were about every little detail of our home and its sale. One of the things we really liked was the way they heavily use and present data - the presentation of all the comparable home sales for us when determining what to list our home for, the way they presented so much information and details to potential buyers, and then again when we got multiple offers on our home and they distilled those offers down into data points to help make our decision so simple. We also ran into a troublesome issue during our home inspection, but Colleen helped us stay calm and got us connected to all the right people to get the issue fixed as quickly as possible before listing. They helped us do the right thing with those home repairs even though we know it derailed some of their Summer plans. We feel like they were the best possible real estate agent matches for us, and we feel that they were able to get more for our home than the other agents we interviewed would have. We'd never choose to work with anyone else - highly highly recommend!

We have purchased two properties with Colleen, and recently sold one property for well over asking. Over our five years of working together, our trust and admiration for her expertise, her acumen, her honesty, and her genuine desire to find just the right property for her clients has only grown. During our first purchase in Seattle, Colleen's eagle eye caught a discrepancy in the deal that ultimately saved us nearly $50K. Most recently she shepherded us through updating our home for sale in a tasteful, high-quality manner that maximized our returns as well as providing genuine value to prospective buyers. From sitting with me while I filled out the initial paperwork to sell my home, to connecting me with packers, movers, repair people, and stagers; she seemed to know a person to help in every situation. I had to move quickly to sell my house and I couldn't have done it without Colleen. She made sure to keep me, the other agents, the title companies, and the mortgage broker up to date on the status of selling my house. She was available to answer questions, seemingly 24/7, and always provided thoughtful and informed answers. Her experience in the region and in her role was evident at all times. Colleen is such a great agent, you wouldn’t have imagined until you worked with her. Even though we were not a first time buyers, but we’ve been out of the market for many many years. Colleen listened to understand what we our ideal house might be. She was attentive, on top of the new listings we might be interested. She was available to show the houses ASAP. When we found the house we wanted to buy, she answered the questions before we even knew we needed to ask. She helped guided us through the negotiation process, so we avoided a possible costly bidding situation. Colleen is so knowledgeable and experienced agent. She pointed out and took care of the things we needed to pay attention to. We totally trusted her advise. As first time home buyers, we did not fully know what to expect. We were referred to Colleen through some friends and were absolutely blown away by her dedication and knowledge. Searching for homes during a pandemic was challenging enough, but Colleen made everything very easy. Colleen is the absolute best! My fiance and I just closed on our first place and we could not have done it without Colleen's help! This was our first time buying and we had no idea what we were doing, and we had a pretty limited budget. I feel like as clients, we were not appealing, but Colleen was happy to work with us and was so warm and understanding from the very beginning. I first got in touch with her in January of 2018 and thought we would start looking closely after, because of some extenuating circumstances, we didn't actually pick things up for over a year. When I contacted Colleen again in March of 2019, she was just as happy to help me as when we first met and took my request to work with her seriously. I feel like a lot of agents could have judged me for that lapse in time, but Colleen never did. She listened, really listened to what I wanted, never got annoyed or judgmental about my preferences, and she was so willing to tour properties with me and give me feedback about each place. We did not know at all what to look for in home and Colleen really helped me when touring properties to understand what was a good idea and what wasn't. In the end we are moving into a condo that meets the expectations we had when we started looking, and I didn't think that would have been possible in Seattle. On occasion she wasn't available to tour something with me, but she would send her assistant, who was fantastic. I never felt like I was hanging and she was so easy to get in touch with. She met me on my schedule wherever I needed. She walked us through literally everything and helped me put together a fair, but competitive offer. Our very first offer was accepted and I know it was because Colleen gave me great advice. She was so helpful in putting together a counter offer after the inspection and she helped me negotiate quite a bit towards closing costs. What also makes Colleen so great is that she works with knowledgeable, reliable contacts for everything from the home inspection to general contract work. She's 100% reliable and competent, which is so hard to find. She was really there for us and so easy to work with. Everyone told me buying a home in Seattle would be a competitive and terrible experience, but it really wasn't and so much of that was thanks to Colleen. We were referred to Colleen McCann by a family member. We are first-time buyers and also relatively new to Seattle, so we wanted to fill a realtor who was skilled, experienced, and forthright. Colleen exhibits all those tendencies, and more. She led us ably through the process from beginning to end, including helping us refine which neighborhoods to explore, what pitfalls to avoid, and how to put together a compelling bid. In addition, both my partner and I work odd hours and travel a fair bit, so we were only able to dedicate a few hours a week to the housing process, but Colleen was extremely generous with her own time and resourceful in terms of ensuring that our time was productively spent.
