I had the pleasure of working with Janine in my home search in Park City in Spring/Summer of 2023. I have been visiting Park City for many years with my family and decided that it was finally time to purchase my own vacation home here. I have rented in many spots around town, so I knew that I wanted to be close to the base of PCMR and close to Main Street - not an easy feat. I was referred to Janine by a friend who lives in Park City and from the get-go she was great to work with. She communicated clearly and promptly, followed up with me as much as was needed, did the work and research I asked her to do, and frankly tracked me down when my life got hectic to keep us on track in my home search. I came out to visit and tour properties and we sort of struck out, but she was very organized and prepared. There was one home that I was considering, but she could tell that I didn't love it, so we kept looking. Then, a few months later, the perfect property in the perfect location popped up and we jumped at it. Janine called the listing agent immediately, we did a FaceTime tour within a few hours of the listing hitting the market, and had our offer submitted before the next morning. We knew it would be a competitive situation given the location, and there were actually 5 other offers that also came in. Janine worked her magic, charmed the listing agent, and we beat out all the other offers (and we weren't even the best offer in the bunch). The listing agent had said that she picked our offer because Janine was the best to work with - a true testament to her people skills and those intangible qualities that set her apart. Janine made the whole home buying process smooth and easy. I have bought/sold over 10 properties in my life and Janine was hands down the best realtor I have ever worked with.
My husband and I have lived in Park City for over 20 years and have built and sold custom homes in the area 3 times. In the past we have used realtor friends at another brokerage, but this time around, when it came time to sell this home, we took a pause before listing with the same agents. From how she did a full (clipboard included!) walkthrough to help stage our house, to designing the “commercial” video for our home, to how she strategically invited people to the brokers open, her attention to detail made a huge difference! She even did a run-through with us of how she would tour buyers through our home (other agents would wait by the door while the buyer self-toured) and this gave us a lot of confidence in her selling abilities and that she would be very hands-on every step of the way. Janine has fresh eyes, is youthful and energetic, yet seems like an old soul - older than her years. We ended up with an offer on the table in a matter of days after going on the market, and while my husband was pretty thrilled with this offer, Janine pushed back and stood behind our price. It showed so much integrity that she was thinking about us and not her commissions in that moment and we ended up getting another $500,000 because of her. We are over the moon and so grateful that we picked Janine and have actually referred her to at least 3 other friends and have been telling everyone who will listen about how great she is.
