Bridget Gallagher is a real estate broker who brings more than 30 years of business ownership, customer service, and leadership experience to every client relationship. Her approach is grounded in clarity, courage, and care — values she’s carried throughout her life and career.
A Bellingham resident for over 20 years, Bridget understands both the excitement of arriving in a new place and the insight that comes with being deeply rooted in the community. She first came to Bellingham to fulfill a vision she had since childhood — to live “where the mountains meet the sea” and raise her children close to nature.
Before entering real estate, Bridget built an extensive career in business and management. She began with The Body Shop, the pioneering company founded by Anita Roddick in England, known for its commitment to ethical business and sustainability. Bridget started her career working for the franchisor of Switzerland, where she learned the inner workings of both corporate and franchise operations and met Anita at the grand opening of the Geneva store.
Later, while helping launch the first West Coast franchise in Seattle, Anita — known for her quick wit and fast-talking style — asked Bridget where she would want to open her own store. Caught in the moment, Bridget answered impulsively, as if throwing a dart at a map: “Denver, Colorado.” She had never been there, but she followed that leap of faith and went on to own and operate five Body Shop stores, two of which became top-performing in the U.S., including one at the newly opened Denver International Airport.
When Bridget eventually moved to Bellingham, she brought with her the same entrepreneurial spirit. Her first endeavor here was co-owning the Toy Garden in Fairhaven, followed by founding 11th Hour Tea & Coffee Bar in downtown Bellingham — each a reflection of her desire to contribute meaningfully to her community.
Today, Bridget combines her deep local knowledge, business insight, and relationship-driven approach to guide clients through both residential and commercial real estate. She understands that every move — whether across town or across the country — is more than a transaction. It’s a turning point.
