December is always a busy time of the year, with presents to shop for, gifts to wrap, decorations to hang, and friends and family to entertain.. With Hanukkah in full swing and Christmas and New Years right around the corner, we thought we would share with you some of our favorite holiday resources from our Windermere Real Estate Pinterest page.

More It Can Happen to Anybody When the Foundation was established in 1989, our focus was homeless families. We’ve since realized that keeping families in their homes has many obvious benefits, so most of our support is now directed to programs with goals of preventing families from becoming homeless.

More Greater Seattle Eastside Offices Give $140,000 to Local Organizations When we work together, we truly can make a huge difference in the lives of our neighbors! Ten of our offices in the greater Seattle area team up every year for fundraising and giving. This year they exceeded everyone’s expectations, giving $140,000 to organizations and programs that benefit low-income and homeless families in their local communities.

More Community Service Day Southwest Event Recap Last Friday, Windermere offices in California, Nevada, and Arizona took some time off from selling houses to make a big difference in their communities. Over the past week, we have heard some remarkable stories about the rewards of volunteering as a part of our annual Community Service Day.

More Windermere Foundation Quarterly Report Thanks to you and the wonderful support the Windermere Foundation has received so far this year, we have raised over $885,000 – up 13% from this time last year! Funds raised will be distributed to qualifying social service organizations dedicated to serving low-income and homeless families throughout the western U.S.

More Community Service Day Southwest On Friday, October 19th, Windermere offices in Arizona, California, and Nevada will be closed for a very special reason. For the past 28 years, Windermere has dedicated the third Friday of October to our annual Community Service Day*

More Windermere Redding, Making Wishes Come True On Friday, October 5, Windermere’s Redding office will host its first annual Fashion Show and Fundraiser at the WinRiver Casino. The net proceeds raised will go to the local Make-A-Wish and Wings of Angels Foundations. Funds will be used to raise awareness about cancer and other illnesses, as well as to celebrate the strength of the area’s young survivors.

More Windermere Kids at the Y program update The Windermere Foundation has dedicated over 1.2 million dollars to this important cause—helping hundreds of kids through our first network-wide program. This unique partnership provides the YMCA with much-needed funds, as well as support from Windermere agents, who volunteer their time to assist with the summer camps and other kids’ activities.
