A Frame Home Style

a-frame-house-style

A-frame homes typically have roofs that start at the foundation and meet at a sharp peak at the top of the structure, creating a triangle shape like the capital letter “A”. The roofline subsequently creates an interior with steep, angled walls. A-frame architecture was popular in the 1950s through the 1970s, especially in snowy places, because the shape of the roof allows snow to slide off easily rather than stay in place and cause damage to the structure.
