ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT
An Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a structure fit to provide accommodations that shares the same property as an existing primary residence, either attached to the residence on the lot or constructed as a standalone unit. Zoning regulations for ADUs vary by region.
