Working with Karoline and Wick has been a true pleasure and they have completely changed my understanding about what a realty business can be and the impact it can have the process of buying/selling residential real estate. We bought our duplex with Ashley Realty Works in 2013 and there was no question about using them again when we decided to sell in 2020 to move closer to family. Over the years I have learned an immeasurable amount of knowledge on the process or buying/selling real estate, its points of emphasis and on the general upkeep and maintenance of owning property. Their client aftercare is second to none and extremely valuable to owners longterm for gaining knowledge and skills related to your home and having fun. If I had 1000 thumbs they would all be up!I highly suggest checking out Wick's "How To" videos, very helpful and very funny!

Wick was incredibly patient with us as we took the time to decide on the area and kind of house we were looking for. We went from putting several offers on houses in SW Portland to suddenly deciding we wanted to buy property in Corbett/Troutdale area. Wick was helpful and understanding throughout our indecision. When we finally did make a decision, he went above and beyond to help us with the negotiations. He even put a last minute deck railing up for us. I would highly recommend Wick and Karoline.

These two are the greatest realtors out there. They helped me find the perfect home for what I wanted. I was looking for a starter home that needed some work but could be lived in and they helped me find exactly that. They also were able to give amazing advice on what work different houses needed and how to do it. They also helped me do it in a way that would help with the resale value of my home. I cannot recommend these two people any higher because they were just an absolute dream to work with and to still know.

Wick is everything you want on a realtor! He is honest, patient, works tirelessly to find the right house for his clients and has their best interest in mind. He and Karoline have really built a community of clients. Almost 5 years after buying our first home with them they are still are go to for any home questions. Wick and Karoline are the poster children for top-notch realtors. Over the years, they have assisted us in purchasing three homes, all of which were incredibly positive and easy experiences (well, as easy as buying a home can be, that is). In addition to their knowledge and expertise, they are incredibly relational and truly care about their clients. This bears repeating because it is so very crucial to the process...they truly, genuinely care about their clients. This is evident from the first time you sit down with them, through closing, to their ongoing client appreciation events and enthusiasm in discussing home projects, referrals, even your latest family vacation. I can’t recommend them highly enough. You won’t be disappointed.

I highly recommend the Ashleys. The whole team was great from getting my home staged and ready for market, all through the negotiation process, and even really helpful after getting settled into our new place. I appreciated the quick responsiveness to all the little questions and details that inevitably came up throughout the process. All of their recommendations (inspectors, roofers, handymen, etc.) were super helpful and cost-conscious as well. I also appreciate their community involvement and charitable work as well. Overall, a highly recommended team!

Karoline and Wick helped us buy our home nearly 8 years ago when we first moved to Portland. We searched for a home for over 6 months and walked though more houses than I can count (at least 40). Karoline and Wick were both very patient and helpful during this time and were a great resource in getting settled into Portland and our eventual home.However I have realized over the last eight years that Karoline and Wick are more than just realtors. They make a committed effort to create a community of current and past clients and create lasting relationships. They have come over to our house multiple times over the years to help plan renovations and provide suggestions using their knowledge of home layouts and how best to invest in our home. Karoline and Wick also have multiple events every year where they invite past and present clients to gather and celebrate a season (Xmas tree cutting party or summer BBQ) or provide inspiration (Spring Fix It Night). I have made many friends and connections at these events and really value to chance to grow my community here in Portland.If you need a realtor you can't do better than Wick and Karoline. They will go above and beyond whatever you need to either sell or buy your next home. Also they are great people so it really is a win-win.
