VESNA SOMERS, JD

I am a licensed attorney and I am a licensed broker. As a result, I feel uniquely qualified to offer real estate service beyond most agents. I have been marketing and selling properties since 1987 in the Seattle and Bainbridge Island markets. I specialize in premier waterfront and estate properties, but love being involved with buyers and sellers from their first home to their last. I have assisted private homeowners and investors on the island and in the city, and feel comfortable with both types of clients and in both real estate climates, although currently, my practice is concentrated on Bainbridge. My real estate ties to Seattle, Bellevue and Mercer Island remain strong which has been a tremendous resource for my clients on the island. While many islanders move around the island, many more families newly discover Bainbridge every year. Many of these families are referred to me, and because I understand the areas that they are leaving, I can make their move to the island so much easier.

LIVING ON BAINBRIDGE ISLAND

I grew up on the ocean in Maryland and have always been drawn to the expansiveness of the sea and the possibilities beyond. As a result, I have also always been drawn to traveling the world, and have had the luxury in doing so only because I have always felt the security of a strong home base in my family and community. No matter which coast I have lived on, East coast or West coast, I have always been drawn to smaller, charming communities in close proximity to a larger, bustling metropolis. In this way, I feel that I can enjoy the best of all worlds. I can live in a lovely "resort" setting where the people are warm and friendly, while tapping into the dynamic artistic and financial culture of the city only a short ferry ride away. I have lived in Washington for over thirty years. I originally moved here to attend law school and explore "the wild west". I fell in love with it and have never left. Come enjoy all this area has to offer as well, excellent schools, lots of good friends, the fresh outdoors, the theatres, skiing, sailing . . . .
