Thank you for checking in. A little snap shot of me, "Demetri the broker". I grew up in Seattle in the humble little community of Montlake. Having grown up as a Greek American I learned early on the Greek philosophy of Filotimo the idea of honoring one's friend, a mantra I've honed for decades to represent you.
Living only a few blocks away from Montlake Community Center I grew up playing and coaching youth sports as well as running before and after school programs. I am a Seattleite to the core. A decades long Seattle Seahawks season ticket holder and budding community activist Seattle is home.
I graduated from Garfield High School I was Student Body President and lettered in Football and Tennis. I then finished my studies with a degree in History and Political Science from Seattle University. Having been extremely active in the Greek community for decades I decided to take my passion of my Greek Culture and food and on a budget smaller than the string of the instrument called the Bouzouki, I opened up three different Greek Restaurants in the early 2000's, The Iconic Porta Greek Taverna on Eastlake, Marianna's by the Market across from Pike Place Market and Taverna Mazi in the Bryant/Ravenna neighborhood. In 2014 I took off my Chef/Owner-operator apron and transitioned into the profession of real estate.
My Real Estate career started out learning, apprenticing and working with some of the most successful companies in the area. Starting out at a commercial brokerage called Marcus & Millichap learning the value and professionalism of client representation, Alchemy Real Estate cultivating my open house skills and learning and understanding the process of new construction, at Windermere I learned the value and importance of community and representation. I was eventually recruited to hang my licenses at Compass Real Estate company one of the largest national real estate companies in the country. After nearly two years of honing my skills utilizing the tech savvy platform of Compass and compiling over 100 real estate transaction over the years I decided to return to the company I feel best represents the Pacific Northwest and my values, Windermere Real Estate Company.
I feel so honored to have been welcomed back to Windermere. More importantly, I feel like having compiled 8 plus years of apprenticing, observing and working with some of the most successful realtors in the area, representing you in your real estate transaction comes with incredible depth, knowledge and expertise which benefits you throughout the entire process.
Moreover, I've represented clients in the buy and sell process in every type of purchase which helps differentiate me from most real estate brokers and brings incredible value to you during the entire process.
My expertise has been an organic process which has grown year after year from the sale of my first listing an A frame cabin in Ashford Washington to the home I grew up in Montlake which I sold with mulitple offers over a million dollars. It does not matter whether the transaction is the $70,000.00 A frame cabin or a multi million dollar listing I treat each client with the up most respect my "filotimo" to you.
