To begin, I had a rental property that no longer fit into my long-term plan. I decided the best course of action was to sell the property... (long sigh and a groan). To the internet in search for a realtor, someone in the locale of the property with good reviews as well as being personable, competent and knowledgeable. Question: which of these traits would I compromise to find a realtor? So I began my search with local Marysville offices and ended up at the Windermere website. Of the agents I called, Tammy listened and engaged in an active conversation quickly, making me feel like I was talking with an old friend… a good friend. I decided that I would like to meet Tammy at the property to see if my first instincts were correct; for how she carried herself in person and to see if we where going to be a good fit. Tammy didn't disappoint she showed up on-time, introduced herself and I was pleasantly surprised we were back into a comfortable conversation. Now to see if she was knowledgeable and able to handle the property. Tammy’s style is upbeat, positive yet realistic. She presented questions as we toured, discussing the pros and cons of the property to draw out what my expectations were for the sale. After we concluded I felt that we connected well, but still wanted to sleep on the decision. After a few days, I still felt much the same, so I phoned Tammy to retain her services. Moving forward to the listing time, Tammy, the photographer and myself where on site to get the photos and do any last minute tasks prior to placing the listing. Tammy felt our initial price was not optimal and suggested that we adjust it accordingly, I felt comfortable in deferring to her judgment. I was very pleased that I did, I got the offer I wanted on the initial open house, was able to review offers quickly, make my decision and the rest was history. BOTTOM LINE: Tammy was exactly what I needed to make home my selling experience amazing! Tammy is professional, practical, courteous, flexible and makes great recommendations in real time. Tammy was an excellent representative throughout the entire realty process. She did her homework daily to ensure us the best possible price for our home guaranteeing a quick sale. At the other end, when purchasing another, she stayed in constant contact with us, guiding us through the maze of seller's realtor, inspectors, and home repair, seeing to it that our new home would be as much a joy as the one we sold. She had to deal with some unethical actions of the buyer's agent, but handled everything in a civil manner. Much better than his actions deserved. The house was sold within two days of listing and at the price we expected. I would recommend Tammy to anyone who is selling their house and want the help of an outstanding agent.
