We've engaged in more than 20 real estate deals in the past 25 years, and have seen a variety of markets and realtors. Without exception, Shawn is the best realtor with whom we have ever worked. He truly listened not to just what we needed, but also what we wanted. He understood the way we envisioned our new home, and how we wanted to live. He never just "Yessed" us. He made it his business to preview homes for us during the week - sending videos on what he thought we'd like, and giving an honest appraisal of what homes he thought would meet our needs, and more importantly, those that while they looked good on paper, were not what we truly wanted. His take on these houses was never wrong. In this market, he knew how difficult and quickly things were moving. He never missed seeing a home that would have been on our list. He reviewed the offerings daily, and made certain to see everything that would work. He made dozens of appointments for us to see homes, and came with us to almost every open house. We wrote two contracts, and lost, before finding our current home. He was prompt with offers, and helped us be as aggressive as possible, and even advised us from offering more than a home was truly worth simply because we were so emotional and frustrated. It took us a month to find the home on which we just went to contract- and it is truly the home of our dreams. While we haven't closed yet, we are confident that the process will be smooth, in large part due to the preparation and planning Shawn helped us with. We would not be here without Shawn's persistence, efforts, patience, support, knowledge and understanding. We are now listing 2 properties with Shawn, and we are certain he will work just as diligently and in our best interest as sellers as he did when we were buyers.

Shawn helped my husband and I purchase our very first home. Needless to say- as one can imagine when wanting to buy a first home- it can be difficult, time consuming and challenging, especially when wanting to purchase a specific home within a budget. My husband and I changed our minds, changed our needs, changed our budget multiple times but Shawn was always there for us. Safe to say that we are a very ‘difficult’ couple to deal with because our stands are high and so is our expectations, both for our home and an agent. Shawn is calm, understanding yet reasonable, flexible and adaptive. He is always there when you need him via email, call or text. We appreciate him so much not only as an agent but also as a human because we always felt as though we were taken care of and always in good hands. He is personable and has a magnificent way of explaining the most complex things so it can make sense, which was great for first time home buyers like my husband and I. At the end of the day- we felt like Shawn always had our backs and rest assured he took care of us and that he did. Buying a home can be intimidating but Shawn made my home buying experience so simple and easy. He is very experienced and has a vast knowledge of real estate all the way from Bay View to Seattle, and of course everywhere in between. For me, buying a new home also meant selling the condo that I had lived in for over 12 years. Although excited for a house and this next big step in life, I knew I was leaving back a lot of memories. Shawn went above and beyond to not only “hold my hand along the way”, but negotiated an amazing deal when I found my dream home (his negotiating skills cannot be beat!) In addition, he also simultaneously sold and closed my condo at the exact same time as my new home, it was very impressive! It takes a lot of communication and spot on timing to be able to make that work, and Shawn achieved it seamlessly. Shawn was a very competent real estate agent. He acted very quickly to get our home on the market and time the market to maximize our value on the home. Shawn was also instrumental in negotiating the best offer on the home and working out the appraisal process to ensure a smooth closing. We have bought and sold many properties during the last several decades and have worked with a lot of different realtors. Shawn is among the very best. He recently showed us a number of interesting properties that matched our rather specific requirements extremely well, even though they were outside of the regions he normally covers. He spent considerable time understanding our brief, touring homes in advance of showing so as to discount those that would not meet our needs, and then organizing a very productive tour. While we cannot yet comment on his negotiating skills we can say with confidence that we quickly developed a sense of confidence and trust in Shawn that - in our experience - is a powerful and somewhat rare combination.

Shawn's a consummate pro. We initiated our home search with Shawn's help, but had to sideline the project ("economy"). He was extremely sympathetic, but continues to offer up tidbits and hints in finding the right home for the right personalities. Shawn doesn't conduct transactions, he creates experiences. My wife and I look forward to working with him again when the time to purchase comes. You should too!

Shawn did an amazing job of helping us prepare the condo for sale. He had a designer walk through and give us advice on how to stage it. He did tons of research on pricing to help us find just the right sale price. He threw in a lot of thoughtful extras too, like bringing over empty boxes so we could move our clutter into storage, and stopping by to help us pick paint colors. All of the prep work really paid off, since we had a full price offer in less than 48 hours of being on the market!
He was also on top of every detail on the buying end. He helped us get the house that we really wanted, despite many hurdles along the way. He patiently answered all of our questions. Overall, we were very impressed with his professionalism, expertise, and motivation. Also, he's a really nice guy. We highly recommend him!

Shawn Perry Just helped us buy our first home in everett silver firs area and I am so glad to have been intoduced to him! We had no idea where to start or how the process even worked and he was so knowledgeable even with finances it made it so much less fearful. We had a heck of a time getting the house we really ultimatly wanted and even went away from it and moved on to looking at other houses but we knew we only wanted the one we wanted and he managed to help us get it no matter how,...it seemed! With knowing us such a short while I really feel he treats you like you have known him forever and he will always be a family friend now to us! Shawn Perry just sold our home! This was after we had listed the home for 6 months with another agent and did not receive one offer. We decided to give it another shot even though it was still a tough market for sellers. Luckily, we found Shawn as our realtor. When it came to determining the right price to market our home, he had this down to a science. His ability to advertise the home and to present its best features was excellent. Even in a market flooded with foreclosures and short sales, Shawn sold our home when another prior agent could not get it done. Shawn saved us!!! We worked with Shawn because he did such an amazing job selling and buying a house for my Mom. When things were going bad with our first purchase of our home at no fault of ours or Shawns, he fought for us!!! I have never worked with anyone who cared so much about us. I have Shawn Perry to thank for selling my home, of which was not an easy matter for anyone at the time! I was going through a divorce, and was quite emotionally fragile at the time! My ex and I were only speaking through our attornies, and Shawn also ended up right smack dab in the middle! He never once complained, (And I know it wasn't easy!) but would explain things twice as necessary, once to me, once to my ex! I couldn't have made it through without his determination and kindness. He helped me more than he will ever know! I have never known a harder worker in real estate, (Or in anything else for that matter!), or a more honest and up front guy! He tells it as it is, which is the only way my house would have sold in these tough times! I then used him to help me purchase my new home, of which he really came through once again for me! I respect him so much that I referred my daughter & son in law to him for the purchase of their first home just last year! Shawn is the best in Washington. He helped me narrow down my search, understanding what kind of homes I like. When I finally chose a house in Tumwater, he was still incredibly helpful, even though it is way out of his normal geographical area. He came down South multiple times to look at homes, then helped me put in offers and counters on one house. When that fell through, he helped me with the offer on the second house in the area.
He's been in regular contact since that time. He really goes the extra mile for his clients, even those who aren't currently in the market. I get regular invitations to events he is sponsoring for clients. He's great at networking, and his events are wonderful, especially for people who are new to the area!

Outstanding! I can't say more. I met Shawn at a showing in the International District. I liked him right away, he certainly wan't trying to pressure me into buying the place he had listed, even though I loved it. I put him through a long search process that culminated in making offers on 2 different places all the way down in Olympia. He was helpful through the whole process and lives up to the cliche "desire to be your real estate agent for life." I receive email and mail communication from him regularly, including invitations to events that he organizes for his clients. Shawn is a great realtor, i started look back in feb. 2010 and now am finally closing in july. We set a 200k budget and looked all over south snohomish county and must have seen 50 or more homes that werent quitewaht i was looking for and decided to go north to marysville where i found my house. I was very picky and stuck to my guns and didnt want to budge, and shawn was very helpful and accepted what i was looking for. Very very helpful and understanding guy.

Had an excellent experience looking for my first house with Shawn! He educated me entirely on the whole experience, interacted with me frequently on what I really wanted, and spent alot of time taking me around the area. He was not hesitant to let me know if a house I "had my eye on" wasn't right for me, and helped me looked at other houses I hadn't noticed in a new light. Basically, he took the time to listen to my hopes, and then facilitate homes that met my goals. I have already recommended him to a friend, and will NEVER hesitate to do so in the future!!
