Meet Shannon

I was born and raised in the beautiful Rocky Mountain country of Alberta, Canada. I was fortunate to have travelled across the country as a teenager with my family. We visited the parliament building (thanks Mom & Dad) at each province capital along the way and happened to arrive in the country's capital city on Canada Day! Anyone know this city without asking siri?

When I met my traveling comedian/musician husband, we continued to travel. This time all over the United States and eventually landing to stay in Auburn California. Escaping the four to five plus months of Alberta's winters was an easy no brainer for us! I find it exciting to have lived here for over 13 years and we easily continue to discover new reasons to love this unique area we live in.

Things that make me happy, in no particular order are: my family and friends, babies, mountain blue birds, organizing, musicals / theater, paddle boarding, quiet mornings or evening walks, local mandarins, Christmas, cleaning, doing the laundry, delightful food prepared by people who have the gift, finding great gluten-free substitutes (yes, there is such a thing ;), hummingbirds around a feeder, See's chocolates, when a plant I own lives..

I love the transformation that happens in a house, when it becomes a home. It becomes a unique extension of the people who live in it. The physical space, inspired by the life within. I find these stories fascinating and I appreciate the sacredness of each one. My high attention to these details and all the details involved are an asset and a strength.
