A Brief History

Recently returned to Orcas Island, Roxy brings a strong background in real estate sales to every transaction.

Roxy began her real estate career in 1988 by earning “Rookie of the Year” at Century 21 Rattan in San Diego, CA. She relocated to Texas and in 1990 worked as the REO/Relocation manager for Prudential Keystone in Fort Worth. Taking the knowledge of managing and marketing foreclosed and corporate-owned properties back with her to San Diego, Roxy joined Prudential San Diego Realty in 1994. There she returned to school and earned her Graduate Realtor Institute or GRI designation. When Pru San Diego merged with Prudential California Realty a few years later Roxy was asked to take on a management role. As manager Roxy reviewed all sales transaction files to ensure compliance with CA Dept. of Real Estate; mentored new agents; and coached agents with experience.

Today

Roxy believes that the most important real estate transaction is yours. Her goal is to learn your needs and concerns and then to apply her experience towards making certain your needs are met and your concerns are addressed.

She says, “Whether you are a seller or a buyer you essentially hire the the real estate professional you use. I’d like the opportunity to interview for the job. ”

Interests

Roxy likes to learn. Her life goal is to learn something new every day. She also enjoys hiking with a group of ladies known as "The Hardy Hikers". Roxy finds that giving back to the community through volunteer work is incredibly rewarding. Currently she is on the Friends of Moran State Park board and has been seen at the Orcas Center, Annual Pet Parade, the annual Fly-in and a few other events.
