Ron has a life totally devoted to his family and community.  He has also developed a very successful Real Estate career over the past 30 years. As a leader in the real estate community he served as 2015 President of the Sacramento Association of Realtors (SAR), as well as serving on SAR’s Executive Committee, Strategic and Planning Committee, Government Relations, Grievance and Nomination Committees. As a top producing real estate agent, Ron has achieved the distinction of attaining the Outstanding Life Member of SAR’s Masters Club, awarded the Top 10% Distinction within Lyon Realty, and also elected to serve as 1999 President of SAR’s Master Club. Other distinctions include serving as a Director at the State level of the California Association of Realtors (CAR) for over 10 years and National Association of Realtors (NAR) for 2 years.

As a Carmichael resident for over 37 years, Ron has continually served his community in numerous capacities. As an elected official, he has been a director for the Carmichael Water District.  As a Director, he has represented his community as a Chair for the Regional Water Authority (RWA) and member of RWA’s Executive Committee for the past 14 years.  In addition, he has also served as President of the Board, as a director for the Association of California Water Agency (ACWA) and Joint Powers Insurance Agency (JPIA), and in addition, served as Special District Commissioner for Sacramento County’s Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo). Ron continues to be active throughout his community and the Sacramento region. He has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael for the 29 years and is a past President (1995).  Ron continues as an active member of his Club in numerous charitable events and Chair of one its committees.  One of Ron’s most recent recognitions is being named 2018 Volunteer of the Year by the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce.

With a BA degree from the University of Texas, El Paso, Ron brings years of experience, business contacts, and successful leadership. While a tireless, committed, and hardworking advocate for all of the citizens of this community, Ron still takes great pride in his family. Married to his wife Cleo, for over 42 years, he always enjoys family outings, backpacking with his son, late movie night dates with his daughters, valued time with his 4 grandchildren,  golf trips, gardening, wine outings, cooking and just spending quality time with his family and close friends.
