I was born and raised in the Aberdeen/Hoquiam area and graduated from Hoquiam High School and then to business college for computers in the Seattle area. I enjoyed working with the Seattle Blood Bank for several years and then managed a Kent-Base Buying Coop for Sporting Goods for companies all over the United States.

After 30 years of running a Kent-based company in sales, marketing and management, I retired and returned to reality - the peace and tranquillity of Ocean Shores. We loved beach time.

I believe in Community and have been- Member of Park Board of Commissioners; past Kiwanis President and still a member; Elks - House Committee Co-Chair; Member of Eagles; Crime Watch Volunteer; Ocean Shores Camping Club; Associated Arts of Ocean Shores. Being active in the community keeps me up-to-date on what's happening in the Real Estate market. I chose to become part of the Windermere/Ocean Shores group January 2003 because of their business ethics and their commitment to support the community.
