Allow me to introduce myself: I'm Richard Glass, also known as ThePortlandBroker. As a native Oregonian, my connection to the beautiful city of Portland runs deep, and I'm passionate about sharing its wonders with others.

My journey has been diverse, shaped by over twenty five years of experience in hospitality management and design. In 2004, my wife Bridgid, our young son, Olive the bulldog, Pickles the cat & I decided to leave our home in Chicago to make Portland our new home and immerse ourselves once again in the Pacifc Northwest's allure.

From establishing several fine dining establishments & music venues in Chicago throughout the 90's,creating a critically acclaimed Pearl District dining hot-spot, to honing my skills in hospitality management within a luxury collection hotel, my career has been a tapestry woven with entrepreneurial spirit and a keen eye for detail. 

In 2012, I made a seamless transition into real estate, drawing upon my background in hospitality and design to offer clients an unparalleled level of service. Specializing in high-touch clientele, I approach each transaction with a blend of expertise, integrity, and personalized attention, ensuring that all unique needs and desires are not only met but exceeded.

One of my greatest joys is the hunt for architectural "nuggets", scouring the city (& state!) to uncover hidden treasures that perfectly allign wth my clients' visions and aspirations.
