Selling and buying homes can be a very stressful experience, but it doesn’t have to be. We recently did both with Renee Vanous, and her absolute powerhouse team, and the experience was incredible. Renee is an honest and reliable agent you can that you can count on to get the job done right. She was very patient in driving around and showing me a lot of options since I didn't know exactly what I was looking for. Due to her knowledge and expertise she was able to give me solid info every step of the way and show me what to look for and what to stay away from. I got the best deal possible due to her ninja like negotiating skills, and stayed comfortably within my budget. Once we had an offer in she was very prompt and thorough. Because of that I was able to move in more quickly that I had anticipated. Renee made the whole process easy and fun because I felt that I could really trust her with such and important purchase, and there was no pressure. We received a top notch "million dollar service" from Renee and Dianne in the selling of our property which was no where near a million dollar value. We had a "unicorn" property which required creative and strategic thinking. Our outcome could not have been better. They were collaborative and creative problem solvers; clear, responsive and honest communicators, approachable, clear-visioned leaders and always had our best interests in mind. We have done three transactions now with Renee (buying two houses, selling one). I can't imagine working with any other realtor again. We trust her 100% - she tells us the truth, which includes pointing out the things that we didn't see when we looked at new houses. She would steer us away from houses that weren't good for us because she just wanted us to be happy in the long-term. After Renee represented us during our purchase of a townhouse in Seattle during the fall of 2006, we didn't hesitate to request her services when we made the choice to sell and purchase a home near Issaquah, Washington in 2010.
Her flexibility and unprecedented customer care made us feel as though she was ensuring that we didn't just purchase another house, but a home to live and grow in. Her knowledge, recommendations, and suggestions of selling and purchasing in a 'down market' at the time, were invaluable to say the least.
After a few showings, Renee had an innate ability to refine and tailor our search to a select area that eventually became our place of residence. I have been friends with Renee for years. Her daughter came to me for childcare when she was young. A few years ago, I told Renee I wanted to buy a second home for a daycare. For about a year, she sent me listings of the new places on the market or she would check out ones I found on my own. She was always available to go visit them with me when I had time. When we finally found the home I wanted, we needed to act quickly because there was another buyer interested. Renee carried photos of me and my boys up to the listing agent, who was having an open house, and introduced herself and my family. I thought it was very personable and such a great way to get 'the in'. She helped me with the lending agent and was very patient with the 'hoops' we had to go through. I got the house for a great price! Renee held my hand and made the experience seem effortless. When I am ready for a third home, I will definitely use Renee!!

My husband and I can not say enough good things about Renee. We actually met Renee at one of her open houses a couple of months before we were ready to put our condo on the market. She made such a lasting impression on us that we actually looked her up when it came time to list our condo and start our house hunt.

Renee was extremely patient with my wife and I as we struggled through the high and escalating prices in the Issaquah/Preston/North Bend, WA area. It took a long time to find something we were willing to bid on because of the strong sellers market. Finally, when we found our dream home, Renee pressed our case with the selling realtor. Renee was on top of the offer updates late into the evening on a Sunday as we were competing with 3 or 4 other buyers. When our offer was finally accepted and we closed the transaction, I was personally told by the seller, whom we had an opportunity to meet near the end of the transaction, that even though our offer wasn't the highest, our offer was accepted because Renee was on top of everything during the bidding process where as the other realtor was far less responsive. In short, Renee's actions, advocacy, and persistence are the reasons we now live in our dream home!

Renee is the real estate agent of your dreams! She is experienced, smart, personable, thorough, efficient, readily available, easy to work with and fun! She has an incredible, experienced network of contractors that made our move from California to Washington State as seamless as possible. She is by far the best real estate agent we have met thus far. Five stars is not a high enough rating for this wonderful human being.
