Years ago when my sister was selling and buying a home she was always talking about how amazing her realtors were. It wasn't until we started our home search that I truly came to understand how amazing Peggy and Peter really are! Buying a home in a seemingly unpredictable market requires a seasoned veteran that knows current market trends and local history that will affect listings. Peggy and Peter took the time to get to know our family's needs and wants in a new home. They kept us constantly updated on new listings and provided flexibility in showing homes to ensure that we were ready to make an offer when we found the right home. Whenever we had a question on a home Peggy would be on the phone with the listing agent tracking down the answer. Peggy and Peter's knowledge of red flags to look out for in homes can only be gained from the years of experience they have and working with the best inspectors in the state. We learned something new in every home we toured and it gave us confidence when we found the one! We will miss the house hunting experience as they truly do make it an enjoyable experience! We will only work with and recommend Peggy and Peter when it comes to selling or buying a home.

I first worked with Peggy in 2010 when she helped my wife and I buy our first house in Seattle. She's since helped us through the process of selling and buying a new house two more times in 2014 and 2020. Every time we've worked with her, I could tell she had our best interests front of mind, and never pressured us to do anything we didn't want to. She presented options in a clear and straight forward manner, answered our questions, and gave direct advice when asked. Most recently in helping us navigate the sale of our house (closed March 2020), she helped us decide what upgrades to make (e.g. painting, carpet) that would be worth while pre-sale investments. She also used her decades of experience to help us hit the spring housing market at just the right time to maximize our sale price (which came in at nearly 15% over asking). Then in our purchase of a new house (closes later this month in April 2020), when we found the one that we loved, she helped us get a bully offer in and accepted before the original review date, allowing us to go in with a price we were comfortable with while avoiding the worry of being outbid by other buyers. Prior to this most recent experience working with Peggy, I would have told you that with online and low cost real estate services seeming to flourish, there would be a diminishing place for traditional realtors going forward. However, the value we received working with Peggy on our most recent transactions (both the increased sale price for our old house, and securing the purchase of our dream home at a price we could afford) far outstripped any cost savings we could have found going with someone else.

Peter and Peggy have made us some very happy home owners! At the beginning of the process we were skeptical that we would be able to find the right home for our needs due to our budget and location, and we were worried we would have to settle for something beneath our standards. Instead, Peggy and Peter listened diligently to all our feedback during the viewing process of what we were looking for and stood by us for the three months it took to locate our home. They showed dozens of properties to us and demonstrated infinite patience and optimism, and they were always willing to work with our schedules. As first time buyers it was incredibly helpful how much hand holding Peter and Peggy extended to us, it alleviated a lot of stress and allowed us to just focus on what was important, finding the right home for us. We felt we were in good hands during the entire process and it was reassuring how keen their eyes were to smaller details that we would have overlooked. They were always willing to dig in and research further information regarding a property we showed interest in to determine if it was a viable investment, and we valued their educated opinions. We finally found our home thanks to their unwavering dedication. Peggy and Peter have helped me with two house purchases, and I cannot speak highly enough about working with them. They told me that they treat their customers like family and it is absolutely true. It was clear throughout the entire process that their goal was to find the right house for me and my wife and our budget, and they are very pleasant to work with to boot! Peggy and Peter have an astounding amount of knowledge to share. After talking with them about what we wanted, they were able to help us find things that were important to us that we had no idea about. I specifically remember asking about septic systems and they listed off at least five different types of systems - this blew our minds. On top of this all, they have contacts with so many people - from contractors, septic experts, to mortgage brokers - you name it, they know a person who can help. My wife and I have briefly worked with some other people in the field, and it is like night and day. If/when we need to look at selling or buying again, we will 100% be looking to work with Peggy and Peter again - we trust them and are very impressed with our entire interaction. My fiancée and I couldn't be more grateful for all of the help Peggy and Peter gave us throughout our home search. This was my first time buying a home, and though my fiancée had gone through the process before, she was new to Washington. Peggy and Peter were incredibly patient throughout the process, cheerfully answering all of our questions and trekking all over the eastside as we decided to cast a fairly wide net in our search. They really internalized what was important to us in a home, and were great about giving advice and sharing opinions without ever feeling pushy. They called out warning signs with some homes that we otherwise would have missed, and when it was time to put in an offer (eight total for us!), they always helped us weigh what was realistic against what we were comfortable with. This was an extremely difficult market for buyers (especially newbies), and we couldn't have done it without them.

My experience with Peggy Hill and Peter Steinke was excellent. They helped in the purchase of my first home and were great. The were always on the spot with updates and answers to my questions. They were with me all the way through closing and gave me information before I needed it. The sale of my home was just as easy and uneventful as the purchase. Both were professional and easy to get along with. They gave good advice as to how to stage the property and what to expect when it was listed. They had good people for the home inspection, as well as the people to do furnace inspection and all the other little things that need doing when selling a home. I would whole heartly recommend Peggy and Peter they are a great couple to work with.

Peggy and Peter Hill will find your dream house! We moved up here from Los Angeles and didn't know the area well, we were given their information (thankfully) to help us buy a house that we had found and wanted to look into further. That house turned out not to be the one and I was disappointed. Within 24 hours, Peggy presented us with another listing that seemed to meet all of our criteria. It was beyond anything we could have dreamed for ourselves.
Peggy and Peter were able to get our offer accepted on that house, that met every single point on our VERY long list of wants, in TWELVE HOURS! Not only that, but our offer was accepted at exactly the listing price. As the process rolled out, they also negotiated a seller credit to repair some small items around the property prior to move-in.

Peggy helped my husband and I buy our first house in Kirkland, sell that house and now most recently buy our absolute dream home in Snohomish. This is a tough market, we looked at a lot of houses that were not quite what we were looking for.
