Because of my relationships on Whidbey, you can expect me to bring a unique set of skills to help you meet your goals. My family and friends on Whidbey are in the construction trades, providing me with distinct perspectives on potential properties. As a longtime Whidbey Island resident, I am passionate about Whidbey Island and the community where I grew up. I have raised my family here and was the high school principal for seven years.  Home buyers can expect me to answer all your questions about neighborhoods, schools, activities and community organizations.

You can expect me to be a good listener and communicate effectively. I will provide you with the knowledge necessary to make a good financial decision for you and your family. We will work together to create a plan to achieve your goals and make your dreams come true.

What you might want to know about me.

I am delighted to call Whidbey Island my home. I grew up here and graduated from Langley High School in 1977. After graduation I attended Central Washington University and because of the impact my teachers and coaches had on my life I studied business and earned my teaching credentials. I taught business and computer application classes at the high school level as I worked on my MA degree in Educational Administration. In 1999 I returned to Whidbey Island as the proud principal of my alma mater, South Whidbey High School. After 40 years of public service in education I retired from Mukilteo School District, where I served as Human Resources Director.

My wife Lana and I have raised two wonderful children, Jessica and Erica, who are South Whidbey High School graduates. I enjoy fishing, crabbing, golfing, and woodworking in my spare time. Lana and I are avid sports fans, attending Seahawk and Husky football games. We enjoy volunteering in our community, traveling and meeting new friends.

As a real estate broker, I take great pleasure in serving those who are interested in becoming a part of this wonderful community on Whidbey Island.
