I think probably the best thing we've appreciated about Mark is that he is not pushy and was honest and patient. He also got to know us well and knew what we wanted in a home. I think sometimes it is hard to find an agent who is truly there for your interest and we felt that Mark was one of those. He is a good human.

Mark is a wonderful realtor to work with. He was incredibly patient and helped us figure out what our must haves were versus nice to haves, gave us advice on locations and resale value. We did most of the searching ourselves. Mark would respond almost immediately when we sent him a house we wanted to look at or find ot more about. He usually offers to go there himself first and make sure it meets the criteria we had to help us avoid wasting time. He is not pushy at all which we liked. I would recommend having a conversation on what your expectations are in xase you want him to be searching everyday and evaluating properties, showing you different types of homes, what you want him to do for you, frequency of check ins, number of houses you want to look at in each area to get an idea of the prices and the type of home you can get for it. It is stressful to pick the right home at the right price, and we were glad to have him around as a sounding board. He walked us away from a house we might have made an offer as we were getting tired of not finding what we wanted and in retrospect we are so glad he did. We found the perfect house in greenlake. Where he excels is negotatiation and getting you a house at the right price- and in this market, making sure you win the bidding war! He also has a great network of lenders, home inspectors who he uses to help you get your offer in quickly by working with them directly. His advice on quality of the home, what you might want to get checked out has been spot on. I highly recommend him.

We have so thoroughly enjoyed working with Mark to buy our first home. He made the process as stress-free and enjoyable as possible in the circumstances, answered all of our naive questions with great patience, and really impressed us with his diligence in working with other realtors, our mortgage lender, and all the other parties involved in the process. On our first meeting together, he took an inventory of our needs and wants, and developed an understanding of our budget. He made himself available every time we needed him for an open house, and for more than a few fire drills. In one case, a house we had an inspection on unexpectedly received a cash offer, and we were only given a few hours to determine our own offer package -- Although we didn't win that one, Mark impressed us with his quick communication, advice, and overall alertness to the situation. Once we won the offer on our new house, there were some hurdles to overcome together. Our mortgage lender had been causing a lot of unexpected delays in closing, making the sellers anxious and reluctant to keep signing extensions. Mark did an amazing job of keeping us on task with whatever we had to be doing, keeping in constant contact with the seller's agent to ensure her that we were doing all we could, and working on our lenders to make sure they had everything they needed to fund as quickly as possible. We have immensely appreciated everything Mark has done to get us this house. We have already recommended his services to family and friends, and we would continue to recommend him to anyone!

In the summer of 2014, I moved to Seattle with my family (3 young boys) after living abroad. Mark was recommended to me by a colleague. I only had 1 week to find a house (something close to the city but in a good school district). Mark helped us find a wonderful house which we've loved since moving here. He's a great guy who really knows Seattle well and the real estate market. We really benefited from his experience especially when it came to negotiating the final contract with the selling agent and knowing what we could ask for based on the inspection, etc. He provided sound advice throughout the buying process. And he continues to provide advice and updates to this day which I really appreciate - keeping us appraised on current market prices and always willing to help in any way.

Mark came recommended to us by a friend who he helped purchase a townhome in Ballard. He is very easy to work with, and took into account all of our criteria for buying a home. The first thing that impressed us was how he helped us get pre-approved on a Sunday afternoon. I didn't expect to get the process moving so quickly with the bank, but we were able to start putting bids in right away thanks to his contacts. It didn't take long at all for us to find a house we wanted to bid on. Mark immediately contacted the seller while he showed the house. He found out right away there was already an offer out. Now since this was one of the first homes we saw, we were hesitant to put an offer in. But Mark set us at ease because of how confident he was in the house being perfect fit for our needs. With our bid out we continued to look at other houses but Mark was right, we couldn't find a better match for us. Thanks to Mark's intuition on the amount of the existing bid, our bid ended up being accepted. Once it came time to negotiate Mark was able to get a few thousand back from our offer, and get our closing costs covered. We lucked out with this house, and with Mark getting us a great deal.

I met Mark by happenstance when wandering through an open house. Mark offered to help me with my home search and I decided to take him up on it. Mark was patient with me while I tried to decide the right area to live but once we found the right house Mark made it happen. As a first time home buyer I was a bit nervous but Mark made the process as easy as it could be. A few years later when work moved me out of Seattle, Mark was the first person I called to help me get the house sold. Mark's knowledge and analysis of the market helped me get my home sold in less than a week. Mark did a tremendous amount of work, including helping me work through some extra administrative hurdles, and went above and beyond in helping me get the house ready for closing. Mark shot straight with me to make sure that I understood the market and my options. Mark did a great job and I recommend him in the strongest possible terms. He won't let you down.

Mark was our buyer's agent for a recent home purchase in NE Seattle. He is very personable and a pleasure. Mark is highly knowledgeable about the area and is a real professional. Mark is, in one word, awesome. I had originally planned on buying a house through Redfin to save money. However, I came across an opportunity to buy a very unique home which, given the circumstances, put me in a position to work with Mark. Working with Mark turned out to be the best decision I made.
