I worked with Marc to purchase a home in Seattle; I highly recommend you do the same! Marc took the time to understand my needs and to help me find the homes and neighborhoods that best fit. When touring he was meticulous, able to tease out both the potential upsides to every home as well the potential problems. When it came to crafting offers, he made the process as painless as possible; a feat given this crazy market. I could not have asked for better communication from our first interaction through close. Marc knows the market, he knows the neighborhoods, he knows the people, and he cares about finding you a home you will love. It was a privilege to work with him and I cannot fathom working with a different agent going forward.

I worked with Marc to sell my Seattle condo in a tough market. Having bought and sold 5 condos in the past with other agents, I have to say Marc is the best real estate agent partner. He was well prepared and listened well as I was assessing him to be my agent. Once selected, he was meticulous in explaining to me the market situation and worked with me to define our selling strategy. At no time did he pressure me into accepting what he thinks is right price to sell, but made sure I had the right set of facts to make the best decision. He did a beautiful portfolio of my condo and made sure the listing was accurate. He provided weekly and if needed, daily updates. Marc did sell my condo. Marc is by far the best real estate agent I have ever worked with! I have bought and sold a number of homes in my lifetime and up until working with Marc, I was under the belief that working with real estate agents was generally a very homogenized experience, with marginal differences from agent to agent. Working with Marc, I was completely blown away by his attention to detail, level of responsiveness/communication, and outstanding customer service and value added to the process. The house that Marc helped to sell was a unique and challenging property in a number of ways. Marc's hard work and impeccable attention to the details ensured that the property was staged and marketed to its highest potential, all while being sensitive to our budget constraints. I am 100% certain that without Marc's help and guidance, the property would have stayed on the market longer and closed at a lower purchase price. I chose to list my condo with Marc due to a recent sale he had in the same complex, where the unit sold for the highest price on record. He did not disappoint! I received an offer within one day of the listing going live that was very strong and clean. After moving out of my condo, I didn't have to worry about anything - Marc coordinated staging, handyman fixes, and more! Even throughout the Escrow process, Marc continued to keep me informed and updated. I highly recommend Marc as a listing agent.

Marc was great throughout our home-buying process! His down-to-earth outlook meshed very well with our personalities, and he was always willing to talk and listen to our concerns (especially important given the Seattle market). One thing that really impressed us was his ability to rapidly assess problems with a potential house. Since so many people are trying to "flip" houses in this market, it's very important to recognize questionable design and construction issues right away, and Marc really shined at that. In addition, he would talk carefully with us and offer detailed advice when we were constructing an offer, which is such a critical step in the process. I think it was his advice that led to us successfully closing on a house in just a couple of months, which is much faster than a lot of people around here! We highly recommend Marc as great Realtor for navigating the crazy Seattle market!

I worked with Marc and Simone on both the sale of my Capitol Hill house and the purchase of my new condo. They were amazing! Thoughtful, thorough and fun. As examples: on the condo, they spotted and avoided a costly HOA fee that would have been a surprise at closing; on the house they worked hard, fast and well to get the house on the market (and under contract!) in less than three weeks.

Stellar! We worked with Marc remotely from New York, and in-person in Washington. He was extremely professional and very responsive to all forms of communication. Since we were out of the city, he acted as our eyes and ears on the ground and gave insightful reports about properties we were interested in. I always got the sense that we were Marc's only clients (that's how he made us feel). He never pressured to be more cut-throat in our tactics and never suggested that we offer an amount that we were not comfortable with. He empowered us to make our own decisions, and supported us in the process. After a couple months we found a wonderful home, and won it with an early offer. Buying a home in this area can be a tough process, so it's nice to have a good ally.

Marc went above and beyond several times in our home purchase! We bought a 2nd home in Kitsap, and in a pinch, Marc was able to jump into a new home market an hour and a half away and help us purchase a dream, several Seattle-to-Kitsap round-trips later. The real test of an agent is how you deal with the various issues that pop up through the closing. We ended up with either a cranky seller or listing agent, and so a lot of drama was injected into our closing. Each time some new issue popped up, Marc methodically presented us all the data, blew away the hype, explained what the other side was doing, and reasoned us to a very calm position that let us minimize the drama and ultimately acquire our dream home, the one I am happily writing this review from today. Overall, it is this peace of mind and knowledge that Marc will navigate you through any issue in a deal that stands out for me.

There aren't enough wonderful things we can say about our experience working with Marc. We feel so fortunate to have found him to help guide us through searching for, finding and buying a wonderful home in the very crazy Seattle real estate market. From our first meeting he spent a great deal of time getting to know us and what we were looking for in our search. He is organized and well-informed, and did a great job answering all the very nuanced questions that go into making an offer. We received so much personal attention throughout the process and we truly could not have asked for a responsive communication style. Also, beyond what you might typically expect from a broker, Marc has a ton of first-hand experience with his family's own home purchase and updating projects. It was immensely helpful to have his experienced eye as we toured homes and envisioned future projects on which we might embark. We felt extremely supported and encouraged from the moment we Marc him all the way through (and well past!) our closing date. All in all, he has been a true partner to us and now, a good friend!

Marc was instrumental in my property purchase in Greenlake. He has all the inside knowledge of the hot areas in Seattle. He knows strategically how to purchase them in a hot market. As an investor, he was very knowledgeable regarding our 1031 exchange. He also has a keen eye for properties that would provide a good return on investment.
