Home, for me, has encompassed 5 states, multiple locations within those states, and over 100 houses thus far.  Growing up in the Midwest, my family moved to a new house every few years, as my father indulged his love of building.  My late  husband's job required frequent moves, criss-crossing the U.S. with our 4 children.  I became adept at finding a house to rent or buy or a site to build on.  In 1982 we moved to the PNW, and ended up in the Vancouver WA area, where I stayed for 20 years.

I met my current husband in 2003, moved to Idaho the following year, where we built a home in the mountains, living there for 15 years, before returning to Washington to be near our families.  We chose to build again, this time in the prairie, near Centerville.  We love the prairie sunrises and sunsets, the mountains, rivers, the incredible Columbia Gorge, and the people we meet here. 

My background is in corporate management, retail, and entrepreneurial ventures: book/gift store; residential construction; cable tv buildouts; handyman services; and pet sitting businesses.  It's been my privilege to sit on several boards for non-profits and to be one of the founders of an animal rescue organization in western Washington.
