Background
Leslie has always been passionate about “places” and the spaces people choose to call “home.” As former Vice President of the Bellevue Downtown Association, she was proud to play a vital part in effectively elevating Downtown Bellevue’s urban life, and in nurturing the growth of its residential and workforce communities through the major events and marketing programs she spearheaded and managed.
A Puget Sound native, Leslie has lived in the Seattle area for over 25 years. She left briefly to live in Ruzomberok, Slovakia after graduating from the University of Puget Sound, Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Business. Upon returning home, she worked in sports marketing where she produced and marketed events such as the 1996 U.S. Olympic Cycling Trials.
