Her careers in law enforcement and global private sector security have allowed her to see people at their best and worst, and through her experience Krista has learned that the most important thing for her to do—no matter what—is to provide excellent service to others. Krista was born and raised in University Place, and worked as a Deputy Sheriff for nine years and retired as a Commander with the Federal Way Police Department after an additional nine years. After a career in law enforcement, she worked for two different Fortune 500 Companies traveling around the world tending to Global Security needs. Her focus continues to be working to understand the dreams and wants of clients, and then finding the home that matches their life tapestry!

Q: What can clients expect when working with you?
A: I am inquisitive by nature, and I like to ask questions in order to gain a strong understanding about what clients' needs and expectations are so I can best serve them. As a REALTOR®, I believe that if you take the time to listen carefully and ask prodding questions, you can more acutely identify what facets add dimension to your client's quality of life and more successfully search for a home. With over 27 years of “people business experience,” I find a way that is comfortable for the client so we can effectively communicate and work together.

Q: Tell us more about the kind of real estate you specialize in! What neighborhoods do you work in?
A: Growing up in University Place and being a homeowner there for the past 26 years, I have spent a lot of time discovering the hidden treasures in and around the beautiful city. Being a starving student while attending the University of Puget Sound, I lived in a tiny apartment by Wright's Park and walked to school to save gas (at that time with my book bag in tow as opposed to a computer!). It was during this time that I began to learn all about the North End communities and homes.
One of my current favorite walking routes is street to street in the Narrowmore area; I also enjoy meandering through the woods and waterfront of Titlow Beach and Day Island. This home-grown passion I have about these areas and appreciation for the diversity in residential real estate enhances my value to finding or selling homes for my clients.
