A Bit About Me! :)
Originally from Alabama, I moved to the Columbia River Gorge in 2015 and quickly fell in love with the place I now call home. With a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a master’s degree in Counseling & Psychology, I spent 13 years as a high school business and marketing teacher before making the leap into real estate in 2022. It turns out real estate is a pretty perfect combination of my background and two sides of my personality: my love for people and relationships, and my very Type A, detail-driven, paperwork-loving side.
Licensed in both Oregon and Washington, I work with buyers and sellers throughout the Gorge, primarily serving Hood River and Wasco Counties in Oregon and Skamania and Klickitat Counties in Washington. My business is largely residential, with a special love for helping first-time homebuyers and plenty of experience working with vacant land.
My approach to real estate is highly relational. Buying or selling property is a big deal, and I want my clients to feel like they have someone firmly in their corner from beginning to end. I’m very hands-on throughout the process—I explain the details, anticipate the next steps, stay on top of the moving pieces, and make sure my clients always know what’s happening and why. Many of my clients become genuine friends long after we’ve left the closing table, which is one of my favorite parts of this career.
I also believe that strong representation and collaboration can—and should—coexist. I pride myself on building positive relationships with other agents and bringing a solutions-oriented approach to negotiations while always advocating for my clients’ best interests. There are a lot of people and personalities involved in a real estate transaction, and I’ve learned that good communication and a collaborative approach can make all the difference in getting everyone successfully to the closing table.
Outside of my work with clients, I’ve served as a Local Director for the Mid-Columbia Association of REALTORS® and spent three years as Chair of its Education Committee, organizing continuing education for local real estate professionals. In 2024, I was honored to receive the REALTOR® Spirit Award.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me dancing, hiking or paddleboarding around the Gorge, or spending time with my husband, friends, and dog.
