We moved to WA from out of state but first came into contact with Katie in April. She worked with us showing us houses by phone and would answer our questions about locations. Once we finally got here, she patiently waited for us to decide on buying or renting as what we were wanting always seemed out of reach of no where in sight. She worked with us on 3 offers with the last one being our home. And that was just the beginning of even more fun!!! We had some crazy things go on and she always met them with us with professionalism, determination, and laughter when we finally could laugh and breathe!!! Working with Katie was an awesome experience! We had already worked with another realtor trying to sell our house and switching to working with Katie was the best decision we could have made. Her passion and thoughtfulness all the way through the process was amazing. We did not have a huge budget to offer her for improvements, but she worked with us to come up with a plan to make our house look fantastic and we had multiple offers after the first weekend on the market. We are relocating to Tacoma from out of state. Having lived in our current home for 32+ years, searching for and purchasing a new home thousands of miles away appeared daunting. Doing so in the midst of the global pandemic certainly didn’t help matters, either. We needn’t have been concerned. Our brightest, ‘we-can-made-this-work’ star during all of this was our Realtor, Katie Jones. A consummate professional, she was oh-so-patient, understanding, responsive to our questions and always there to provide emotional support each step of the way – even during the emotional ups and downs of the loan approval process. Asking the questions she did, we felt she really knew us and what we wanted to achieve in our search. Her extensive knowledge of Tacoma and keen market/neighborhood insights were also particularly helpful. And instead of showing us a property merely for the sake of showing it, she very carefully screened each home she found before approaching us with it for consideration, even going so far as conducting Face Time tours with commentary so we could thoroughly see a property, ask questions about what we were seeing and not have to rely solely on listing photos and/or 3D images to solidify our interest in viewing it in person. This was invaluable to us because we were staying 2-hours away during this time and avoiding unnecessary travel was a plus. With Katie, we genuinely felt cared for, our best interests always at the forefront of everything she did. She was a strong and unwavering advocate for us in every sense of the word. Best of all, her skill, expertise, guidance and advice enabled us to submit an offer beating those of several others in a quickly moving and highly-competitive sales environment. In our view, we could not have had a better experience and feel so very fortunate to have worked with her. We were so lucky to work with Katie on the purchase of our home. We were living in SF during our home search, which meant we needed to coordinate a weekend in Tacoma to look at houses to start with. She, very thoughtfully, lined up a great mix of houses so that we could get a feel for the Tacoma market and determine what we were really looking for in a house. Katie is a wealth of knowledge about Tacoma and it was refreshing to have all of our questions answered about the area. After that weekend, we decided to make an offer on one of the houses. :) The day we decided to make an offer ended up being Super Bowl Sunday. Katie dropped everything and wrote up the offer for us and submitted that day. We learned our offer was accepted the very next day! Throughout the entire closing process, Katie kept communication lines open, was highly responsive with our random questions about previous utility bills and many other things that came to mind, she also made sure we were comfortable about how the process works. She represented our priorities in the actions she took and we had a very successful purchase experience. Katie is an excellent choice if you are looking to buy a house. She will listen to your needs and deliver. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and we ended up buying our dream house. We couldn't have done this without Katie and we're so grateful for our experience.
