As a former teacher with a B.A. in Journalism & Spanish from the University of Oregon, and a M.A. in Teaching from George Fox University, Katie loves learning. She spent a year traveling and living in Mexico and Spain and speaks English/Spanish. She taught 4th grade and English as a Second Language. As with teaching, she knows how real estate can change lives with the right people by your side. So she stays up to date with research and housing market data as well as shifting trends and buyer/seller psychology. This helps her clients stay informed so that they can make the best decisions during the selling and buying process.
Katie believes in working together so when partnering with her, she’ll get to understand her clients’ goals, questions, stresses, and joys. “There’s just a level of comfort, compassion, kindness and supportiveness with Katie…” as a client remarked. As a long time PNW resident, she grew up in Damascus, Oregon, and currently lives in Lake Oswego with her family. She enjoys hiking, yoga and traveling.
