Senior Executive Associate
I love people and I love helping people realize their dreams. Above all I value integrity and kindness. I work hard in business and for my clients, many of whom have become dear friends over the years, and I value my colleagues and the mission we share. I learn everyday, thrive on new challenges and continue to keep up with the changing market. I've been selling real estate in the Sacramento area since 1994. With 30 wonderful years in Sacramento I have learned the neighborhoods "like the back of my hand", watching growth and changes all over. I am a wealth of information and love to share my knowledge and help my clients in every way I can. I pride myself on my professionalism, sense of fairness, and keen negotiating skills.
I started my real estate career in Northern New Mexico in the mid 1980's, working on some interesting trade deals with the Pueblo Indians. It was a learning experience, and makes for some good stories. I moved back to San Francisco in 1987 and went into a different field, managing art galleries in San Francisco and then in Los Angeles. Also an interesting time and rewarding on many levels. I managed art galleries in 1989 in S.F. and 1994 in L.A., so I was in charge of clean-up in the galleries after both earthquakes. Shortly after the Northridge quake I decided to move to Sacramento, buy a house near family in South Land Park, leave the shaking behind and move forward (as I had always planned to do) in my real estate career. It has been a good decision for so many reasons. I truly love to help make people's lives better, and I hope to make a difference in some of the lives I touch. I try to teach by example, exceed expectations, and pay it forward whenever I can.
I am honored to be a Mentor at the Downtown Lyon office and take that responsibility very seriously as I know I am a big influence in how their careers take shape, and how competent and professional they are as Lyon agents and Realtors in our community.
I'm also a very involved member of the Sacramento Association of Realtors. I serve as Treasurer of the SAR Charitable Foundation, also on the Strategic Planning and Finance Committee, Charity Research Committee, and the Masters Club Steering Committee. I proudly coordinate the Realtor Volunteer program serving meals to the homeless guests at Loaves & Fishes on our designated days of service.. This is one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had.
I am always available to help with any real estate questions, or anyone wanting to buy or sell.
