Originally from San Francisco, CA, Joni studied Business and Real Estate at North Seattle College. For over 30 years, she owned and operated USA Karate Academy of Shoreline, providing families with access to Martial Arts training, physical fitness, self-defense and sport karate on the local, regional, national and international levels. This mother of four grown sons, all alumnae of the Shoreline School District and Washington State Public Universities, loves empowering others and giving back to her community. Her other passions include reading, music, performing arts and traveling with her husband.
