John came and told us what he thought our house would be worth as is and told us what we could get if we did work on our house. He came back when the work was complete and said many positive things about the house. We got a bid the day after the house was listed. He stayed in touch with us constantly. He gave us contact info for all the work we needed done. He helped us to close on the house we sold and the one we bought. He worked hard on the house we bought. We bought my in-law's house and he worked for countless hours to find a house they would want. The time frame from when our home went on the market until the last house closed was only 3 months. He makes himself available to you and makes it personal. Our family has bought or sold 6 houses. We would use him again.

Our Realtor, John West, was a consummate professional. We were novices to the real estate world; John’s expertise, patience and flexibility were valuable assets utilized quite successfully as he graciously shepherded us through the process. During periods of anxiety, uncertainty, and ambiguity, John’s explanations of what to expect, his review of various possible scenarios, laying out important process milestones and employing a pro’s & con’s approach were all very helpful to our decision-making. His relaxed, calm demeanor inspired confidence and his ability to allay our fears was outstanding. Being a young couple at ages 21 and 23, my husband and I had no idea where to start when we started looking for our first home. He never got annoyed w/ our incessant ignorant/noob questions; in fact he encouraged them! Our sale was unique in that we were selling a family home owned for more than 70 years and they were very sensitive to my 85 year-old mother's feelings and apprehensions, and at the same time were able to maintain clear communication with myself and my two siblings.
