Originally from Scotland, John comes to the Windermere team with a richly diverse set of real estate skills. From a high-pressure career working on oil rigs all over the world to award-winning wedding photojournalist, then exquisite custom motorcycle builder, and finally a talented general contractor building unique Pacific Northwest structures—he has so many perspectives to draw from, all of which are key to buying or selling your next home.

John divides his time between Seattle and the San Juans, where he is building his dream house with his teenage daughter, teaching her valuable life skills using nail guns and 2x6s. He is an avid reader of all things, a distance runner, and a short story writer.
