Who we are in the business of Real Estate
John Hagerty began working as a Realtor at Windermere/Coeur d'Alene Realty, Inc. in 2001. Stacia cut back on her law practice to form a team with John in 2002 and began working full-time in 2003. The evolution of the couple's Real Estate Practice evolved through some commercial work, development and a great deal of residential real estate. They now focus on residential, land and investment sales. They have hundreds of successful deals to their credit and continue to serve past clients with over 90% of their business stemming from referral and repeat customer! They live the motto "Our focus is your satisfaction!"
Where we came from
Both born and raised in rural Libby, Montana, the couple continued their high school romance through college while John achieved his B.A. in Finance at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wa., and Stacia obtained her B.S. in Accounting at the University of Idaho. After Graduation in 1989, the couple moved to Portland, Or. to begin careers in business. They were married on St. Patrick's Day in 1990 and purchased their first home in 1992. Portland afforded many happy days boating on the rivers and working as ski instructors at Mount Hood Meadows.
How we came to Coeur d'Alene
After six years in Portland, the Hagertys decided to return to the Inland Northwest to build a life in the area where they hoped to raise a family. A year of ski-bumming and water skiing in Sandpoint allowed Stacia to return to the University of Idaho as an in-state resident to pursue her Juris Doctorate in Law and gave John time to open All About Sports, L.L.C. When Stacia became a lawyer in 1998, the couple chose to plant roots and begin a family in Coeur d'Alene, Id. They purchased their home in the Highland hills on 11+ acres in the srping of 1999 while Stacia worked for the City of Coeur d'Alene as a prosecuting attorney. She later became a partner at Horrocks & Hagerty, P.L.L.C. In April of 2001, John & Stacia were blessed with their baby girl, Marisa Jeanne.
Real Estate and who we are now
The couple bought their first investment properties (rentals) in the fall of 2002, one in CDA and the other in Post Falls. Becoming investment property owners and landlords while developing a real estate business in a booming market brought many learning opportunities. The Hagertys' investment properties have evolved to include 5 rental units in the Silver Valley and a vacation home in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. They pride themselves on helping others find the fun in the area and helping people realize their housing and investment goals. The couple continue to enjoy helping customers & clients with REal Estate needs while enjoying life in the Coeur d'Alene area with their daughters Marisa and Shelby, dogs Tua & Max and cat, Lassie.
