We have now purchased and sold three homes on Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo, and Port Ludlow with Jan. On our recently completed sale, Jan was assisted by Amy Allen with Poulsbo Windermere, and the two of them working together on the Port Ludlow transaction were wonderful. In a rather difficult market they did an excellent job with marketing and providing maximum exposure and following every lead. Our first purchase from Jan on Bainbridge was in 2000, and we knew nothing of the area. She gave us a comprehensive overview of the island,, and I believe that she knows the sales history of every house there. We are now in our fourteenth house which is in the Scottsdale area, and none of our other agents have provided such comprehensive service. Our realtor, Jan Johnson, was outstanding. We were working long- distance with her and on several occasions she adjusted her schedule so she could do a virtual tour for us via FaceTime. Her willingness to quickly arrange these tours helped us to narrow our search so that when we could be there in person we were able to quickly locate a property. Throughout the entire purchase process she kept us informed and made excellent suggestions about pricing, inspections and facilitated a remote closing process. I would and have definitely recommend Jan Johnson, I give Jan a 10 and then some. I marked 7 because I do not know about the firm of Windermere as a whole and the question is about Windermere not Jan. I would have preferred not to answer that question but this form did not give me that option. I did not want to give a 10 because that would be too enthusiastic for something I know nothing about. But I did not want to number to reflect badly on Jan so I cut the difference at 7.
Jan is excellent at what she does. She kept the marketing and closing on coarse and helped me emotionally and specifically with getting tasks done to accomplish the transaction. She met with the carpet cleaner on a day that I was not available, thus making it get done so we could get the condo on the market. She arranged for the stagers to come in amongst their packed schedule both to stage and destage. She showed the people who ended up buying my property because their realtor lived an hour and a half away and it was easier. The list goes on and on as to how she expedited the listing and sale. Anytime I was on the verge of emotionally falling apart she would give me some pragmatic simple task to do. I am touched that she donated some of the proceeds from the sale on my behalf. That warmed my heart!
