My mother-in-law was our buying agent when we bought our house, and she had great interactions with another Windermere Abode agent and recommended I reach out to them to check their availability. Through that, I was connected with Ian, and after our first meeting, I felt really good about the vision and direction he had for selling my property.
The selling process was incredibly smooth. Ian did a great job of keeping me updated throughout the selling process and letting me know via email and text if I needed to do anything. Ian was available during a holiday weekend and family functions and I never had any issues reaching him.
It was a good balance of not feeling left out/ignored and not having to worry about a ton of small details. For big things though like listing price, staging, and pre-inspection, I felt like I had a say and didn't feel pressured to spend more or settle in any way.
Ultimately the staging and marketing helped me exceed what I thought the ceiling would be for a sale price on my property. It was incredible what he and his team were able to do when the listing was ready and it really made my condo stand out among the other condo listings in the area.
Overall the process couldn't have been more smooth or positive. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone else I know that will be selling in the future.

Ian and Anne Jones are the best of the best. They know the process inside and out and give clear guidance regarding each step. They have been absolutely invaluable to me as I’ve sold properties on behalf of my parents these past two years, and I can’t imagine going through the process with anyone else. 5 stars are not enough to describe my experience with Ian, if you want your next purchase to be stress-free, worry-free and perfectly advised, do not hesitate to work with him, he is literally the person who reviews, investigates. and does. They take care of every detail so that you make the best purchase, in addition to always giving more than what you ask for. I can't give specific cases here, but his research and work methodology saved me from buying a property that would probably become a nightmare in the future. Ian was the best real estate agent that I've ever interviewed or worked with through buying our house. He is impressively great at quick, informative, and assuring communications all throughout the process. This really helped us a lot since we are planners, and with such great communications, it gave us so much peace in mind in the house search.
Additionally, Ian is exceptionally good at being open to hearing what the clients' needs are instead of pushing his ideas around. Even then, he would give honest opinions when we needed a little bit of more nudge to help our decision-making. He prioritizes our needs within the boundary that we feel comfortable to push (e.g., advising us to stay on the ground rather than going over our budget too much).
Lastly, Ian operates based on data and his expertise in working on homes. He shares all details about the house at an earlier stage so that we don't need to request for some when needed--we already know about the house! He was also able to give the ideas around the inspection.
I recommended him to our friends who may consider hiring an agent. For anyone who's looking in Tacoma and surrounding areas, I highly recommend working with Ian.

We made the best choice going with Ian as our agent. He is extremely knowledgeable, hardworking, and communicative -- all top things we wanted in an agent -- as well as a kind, honest, and great person.
