About Me

 I've been a Sacramento resident since 1970 and  not only know the neighboring communities but I'm happy to share my knowledge. My family and I have experienced many benefits of the area and enjoy living here, and in my spare time, I enjoy golf, hiking , backpacking , other outdoor sports, and travel with my wife, son and daughter.

I retired in 2021 after 31 years as a teacher in the San Juan Unified School District with a Master in Education and many memories. My goal was to continue working after teaching and help others reach their goals of home ownership. I built a solid reputation of trust and competence in teaching and interacting with parents and school staff, and compare the experience of teaching with real estate in that people are always learning something new and applying that knowledge in making critical decisions. As in teaching, my conscientious approach reflects the responsibility I have to those looking for knowledge, assistance and expertise.

  I've had my real estate license since 2014, and I continue to keep up with the latest trends in real estate to provide quality service to my clients. A couple of blogs and posts that I listen to are Mondays with Matthew Gardner, Chief Economist for Windermere Real Estate, and Ryan Lundquist's Sac Appraisal Bog.com. Both are excellent resources for real estate activity in the area. In one of my first jobs I asked the owner how he approached his customers. The owner replied, "I would devote all my time and energy to making sure that the needs of my customers were met as I would focus on them and nobody else." That memory has stayed with me and he can easily apply it to my work in real estate. I identify the needs of my clients and focus on meeting those needs through exceptional service as an agent.

I'm motivated by the idea that "hard work reaps rewards" and I've taken that motto to my work in real estate. The rewards are having the needs of my clients identified and met. And, the reward is a job well done through exceptional service.
