Chris has been warm, friendly, efficient, service oriented, and well informed. He has gone out of his way to be helpful. I've lived out of town during this period, and never had to worry about how the house was doing. He kept me informed and made sure the house was kept in great condition. He had many open houses and made sure the sale had lots of coverage. At the end of the negotiations, he made up the difference by giving up some of his commission, a decision shared by the buyers agent. That was new to me, and I was so impressed, as he had earned every cent of that commission, as far as I was concerned. He communicated in the evenings, on the weekends, on holidays, basically whenever I needed to speak with him. He's the best, and I'm so grateful I got to work with him.

I cannot recommend Chris enough! Buying my home came with its fair share of challenges - from multiple lending snafus to rent-back addendums and endless financing questions - but he was there every single step of the way. He answered every question quickly (and with so much patience), never once made me feel silly for asking, and guided me through the process with professionalism and kindness. On top of being an incredible realtor, he had the cutest little helpers (his kids!) that made the whole experience even sweeter. Truly an all-around amazing person to work with!

You couldn't find a better agent than Chris Mackey. He has helped me buy three properties. He's the real deal - he knows what he is doing & knows the market. If he's not sure on something, he'll tell you, then get back to you quickly with the information you need. He's very good at reading people, knowing when to push a seller for something and when to back off. I had total confidence in him. If I was undecided on some aspect of a property and asked him "what would you do", he looked for what was best for me, not what was in it for him. All the paperwork in a purchase is daunting but he explained everything - I nevery felt silly for asking a whole lot of questions! Buying or selling - someone would be really fortunate to have him as their agent.

This home sale and purchase was my second experience working with Chris in a real estate transaction. He previously sold a home for my elderly mother. Chris was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us understand the process of selling our home and buying another home on contingency. He advised us on pricing our home and how we may best plan for any give and take in price negotiations. He helped us plan for an open house and provided us feedback from potential buyers. Upon receiving an offer, Chris negotiated terms with the buyer that was fair and acceptable.
Our experience with the purchase side of this transaction was similar, if not even better. Chris presented our offer and expertly negotiated terms. He provided us excellent feedback about the buyer and what he may be willing to offer us in the negotiations. Our home purchase involved an in ground pool that needed servicing and inspection. Chris made those arrangements and even spent his own time cleaning the pool, applying chemicals, and arranging for inspections and professional servicing,
On our move-in day, I received a call from EWEB about a possible water leak in our system based upon their observations of the water meter readings when the house was unoccupied. Chris went above and beyond by calling EWEB, helping to arrange a quick visit by their inspector, and he even dug a large hole near the water meter to determine the source of the leak. He then arranged for a plumber to come within an hour to finish the repair. I don’t think that I know of who else would provide this level of service.
I highly recommend Chris Mackey to anyone looking for a realtor who is knowledgeable and provides a high level of care and service.

Chris was absolutely amazing to work with! He was very responsive to my messages and calls and always provided great insight. Chris was very flexible and accommodating to my busy work schedule. I am a veteran and used my VA home loan and Chris was able to help me find houses that accepted VA loans and got me set up with a VA mortgage broker. The over all searching, offer submitting, and closing process was completely stress free. Chris did a great job keeping me informed of things needed throughout the process and answering any questions I had along the way. I felt very comfortable with Chris and never felt like I was being steered in a direction I didn’t want to go. Chris supported the properties I was interested in and I really felt like he did everything, and then some each time, to make sure I got the property I wanted. I have already and will continue to recommend Chris to people who tell me they are looking to buy a home.
