I’m a third-generation Bainbridge Islander and my maternal great grandfather worked at the Port Blakely Mill Company at the turn of the century. My paternal grandparents immigrated from Croatia and my dad started a strawberry farm where I gained my first sales and marketing (and hard labor) experience. Multiple generations of my family have thrived thanks to Bainbridge Island’s excellent schools. After graduating from the University of Washington, I returned to the island and married my high school sweetheart.

In 1995, we traveled all over the West looking for other places to live. Nothing could compare to Bainbridge Island and its proximity to Seattle, the Cascade and Olympic Mountains, the water and most of all, the people!
