Cathy brings to the table not just her knowledge of the real estate market, but also an intrinsic understanding of the customer's needs. She started her journey in the real estate business in 2006 after moving from Southern California to South Sound. Before this transition, she had a remarkable 20-year career in motion picture marketing. Her major strength as a Realtor lies in her ability to listen and understand her clients' desires, ensuring a smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free buying or selling process.

Cathy has earned the prestigious SRES Designation from the National Association of Realtors. Buying and selling real estate has changed so much over the last 30+ years. As a Seniors
Real Estate Specialist®, she has undergone specialized training to address the unique
challenges that seniors face when it comes to buying and selling property in today's
market. The Joy Team is committed to guiding seniors, with care and compassion, through
every step of the real estate process. From understanding the financial implications of
downsizing to providing resources for aging in place.

Cathy served on the Board of Directors at the Tacoma Pierce County Association of Realtors for three years.

Her extensive experience includes working with both national and local builders, such as Lennar, Soundbuilt, and RM Homes. Cathy also has a deep understanding of condominiums, having personally owned three of them. She is adept in navigating through the complexities of homeowner associations, assessments, and other related issues.
