First in the fashion industry in Europe, Los Angeles and Seattle - and then in the world of real estate where her 30 years’ experience includes design and development of unique residential properties, and as a top-producing mortgage lender over two decades, with several thousand satisfied clients. During her time in the demanding lending industry, Catherine was a key partner in over 1000 purchase transactions, managed construction financing for more than 50 new custom home projects, and closed more than $350 million in real estate financing for her many grateful clients and referral partners. With a keen passion for interior design and architecture, Catherine now brings her extensive technical problem-solving experience, regulatory expertise, proven record of superior customer service, and her enthusiasm for making friends and sharing new adventures to her career as a real estate broker. She provides her clients with key insights into the crucial details of lending regulations and underwriting restrictions that can impact their buying and selling strategies — details that are largely invisible and unknown to most agents — and guiding her clients to more successful and satisfying closings. 

She has been a resident of Whidbey Island since 1995 when she and her husband relocated here from Hawaii to raise their young family. In her free time, she enjoys hiking the many forest and beach trails of Whidbey Island and the San Juan Islands with her dogs, visiting with her grown kids in Hawaii and Alaska, and exploring Pacific Northwest waters between Seattle and Alaska with her husband on their boat. She is also active on the Board of the nonprofit Central Whidbey Hearts and Hammers, and supports local charities.
