When we decided to pull the trigger and get serious about looking for a house, we knew that we had a lot of work to do. We are a couple who lives on the East Coast and had no contacts with anyone in Real Estate in the area where we were looking to settle. We screened several candidate realtors and interviewed two. During our interview, Carolyn exuded professionalism, confidence, and an understanding of what we were facing when buying a house without the ability to actually see the houses in person. Carolyn listened closely to what we were looking for, screened for likely candidates, and provided them to us –even starting before we had committed to going with her as our realtor. Her philosophy and personality made her our top choice. Carolyn kept us apprised of houses coming onto the market that met our criteria and when we found one we were interested in, she conducted a tour of the house with us watching via Skype. She took the time to walk through all the rooms and the grounds, providing insights into what we saw. When we put an offer on the house, Carolyn was on top of every action. She kept us in the loop through texts and phone calls (often before her workday began as we are 3 hours ahead). As we were unable to be present for the inspection, Carolyn personally shadowed the engineers through the 3+ hour inspection and called us immediately upon completion to give us their insights. When we decided to come west to conduct the final walkthrough and closing on the house in person, Carolyn arranged a time and accompanied us through the house. She also arranged to have the sellers join us to provide greater insight into the house, specifically detailing information on the various systems that we would be acquiring. Carolyn was willing to take on many of the actions that needed to be shepherded though the process as we were unable to be there in person to do it ourselves. We successfully closed on our house thanks to Carolyn’s diligence and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the results of our home search. We would highly recommend her to anybody needing a realtor.
