  EXPERIENCE: A Utah Realtor® since 2008, I was previously licensed as an Associate Broker in Alaska and later licensed in Oregon. I have successfully represented scores of buyers and sellers through many complex real estate transactions. I am a detail-driven agent who strives to provide professional guidance and excellent service for my clients!

  SALES BACKGROUND: I previously spent 15 years in senior positions in the hotel business, first as the Regional Director of Sales (Australia & New Zealand) for Hilton Hotels Corporation; then as the opening Director of Marketing (from earthworks to Grand Opening over two years!) for the 600-room Conrad (Hilton) International Hotel & Jupiter's Casino on Queensland's Gold Coast. I was later appointed Director of Marketing for the world-class 800-room Shangri-la Hotel in Singapore. My last 'corporate job' was that of Hong Kong-based Vice-President Worldwide Sales (Asia Pacific) for Holiday Inn Worldwide. In that capacity that I oversaw management of five regional offices ... Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul and Hong Kong (for mainland China) ... that encompassed direct sales and marketing responsibilities for 84 hotels in 14 countries, and outbound support for hundreds of other hotels globally. I specialized in building teams across this diverse region, and producing measurable results.

  MILITARY SERVICE:Semper Fi! I am a five-year combat veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. I also served as a Marine Guard at the American Embassy in Rome. (This was a much better duty assignment than the combat part!) It was during my time of training at Marine Barracks Washington and the State Department that, as a member of a small contingent of U.S. Marine Guards, I was selected to escort the President of the United States on a foreign mission.

  FAMILY: I am the very proud father of a simply-super daughter who is a Westminster College Environmental Studies Major. Her interests in all things earth ... plants and animals, flowing water, clean air and a safe, preserved climate ... are wonderfully fulfilling for her and her dad!

  INTERESTS: though I've been away from aviation for a while, I previously sat the FAA's Flight Engineer (Turbojet) writtens in Seattle and later earned my Airline Transport Pilot rating. I logged most of my 2,560 flight hours in floatplanes and amphibious aircraft in the bush of Southeast Alaska's Inside Passage, including 1,100 tourist-laden flights over the Juneau Icefield. I later worked as General Manager of a small scheduled airline in Fiji, all the while flying tourists and med-evacs over the beautiful islands of the Fijian archipelago. (My logbook shows my busiest day as 36 floatplane take-offs and, I hasten to add, 36 successful landings!)
