PERSONAL INFORMATION

• I once worked at the Space Needle as a tour guide.

• I am a graduate of Lake Washington School District (Helen Keller Elementary, Kamiakin Junior High and Juanita High School).

• I was a rower on the University of Washington rowing team and my teammates are Olympic gold medalists.

• I live in Kirkland with my husband, young daughter and pet dog. I enjoy hiking, traveling, soccer and snowboarding.

• The Redmond hospital I was born in, is now part of the Microsoft campus.

• For over 40 years now, my parents still live in my Kirkland childhood home. 

• I have over 300 hours of volunteer community service with the City of Kirkland.

• I am a 5th generation Washingtonian!

• My great-great-parents settled in this area in the 1800s from Europe.

• My great grandparents met on Main Street in Bothell in the 1900s and are buried in the Bothell Pioneer Cemetery with City founder, David Bothell. 

• I speak fluent Spanish and Portuguese as a result of living and working in South America.
