I would love to give a “shout out” to Alyssa Ahern as an exceptional real estate agent! I am a return client of Alyssa’s. She is very professional with timely and clear communications between all parties, she really knows the real estate market, but most of all she possesses an “instinct” on how to get the best possible deal for her client through negotiation without losing the deal, while making all parties happy! I personally had a property that seemed like a straightforward sale originally, then we found out there were major complications with neighbor encroachments and lot lines, etc. A simple sale turned into complicated round of negotiations and multiple deal “makers or breakers” with the buyer. I was very pleased with her skills and “gut instincts” during the whole process. It was a lot of work and I am happy with the eventual outcome and so was the buyer. I must say being through the home buying process before I wasn’t expecting a smooth experience this time around. Until we met Alyssa with Windermere, she really set the bar high. Her detailed knowledge about the neighborhoods and surrounding areas is impressive, she’s a true professional! Her ability to learn about her clients and deliver is her specialty. She provided us with stellar service always being in contact throughout the entire home buying process and left no questions unanswered. Alyssa is a consummate professional and lovely human being. She was so spot on that we only looked at one house together. Alyssa literally and figuratively jumped the fence for me. It was my dream home. Alyssa had listened to me and did not have me come out to look at homes that did not fit the bill. I was having this type of problem with other brokers at the time. I had the privilege of working with Alyssa twice. The first time was to purchase a condo on the Bremerton Waterfront. My wife and I first met Alyssa months before when we began our search to live closer to our children and grandchild. Alyssa immediately put my wife and I at ease as she listened to understand our goals and time line. Each week for months Alyssa sent us listings for homes/condos in our price range, on the times we did on site visits, Alyssa had the day prepared so that we maximized our time and made the day enjoyable. When we finally found the condo on the Bremerton Waterfront and knew we wanted to purchase it, Alyssa immediately went to work getting us the best price with very little stress. After moving into our new condo, we then had to sell our current home in Seattle. Within days Alyssa had toured our home, showed us comps, and set up a strategic plan to stage and sell the home quickly. In fact, with Alyssa's plan we put the home on the market on a Thursday and by the following Monday we had 7 offers on the home, all above our asking price. My family is very grateful to Alyssa for her ability to help purchase and sell a home, but more importantly to listen, understand, guide, and amaze her customers with over the top service. An example of this is, when we sold our Seattle home, the offer was much above the comps and was over $20,000 more than any home was appraised for, Alyssa prepared a presentation to the appraiser that helped the appraiser understand the real value and our home was appraised above our selling price, making myself and the buyer very happy. Alyssa is a true professional. My husband and I flew to Washington to purchase a home. This was our first time in Washington. Alyssa was not only our realtor, but she was an excellent tour guide. She took the time to explain each city/area as she drove us around (she brought us snacks too!) Prior to our arrival, she requested we provide her with a list of prospective houses and she took us to each house. She did not rush us and she asked questions to see why we chose to look at those houses. At the end of the day, we did not find a house from our list, but Alyssa was paying attention to what we were looking for the entire time. She asked if she could show us a house, we agreed. We pulled up to the house and it was perfect! We went inside and fell in love! We saw the house online, but scrolled past it because the pictures did it no justice, but the house was exactly what we were looking for! We went back to San Diego happy we found our house, we made an offer. Alyssa was there with us every step of the way making sure we understood culture and house buying in Washington so we did not lose our home to someone else. She asked us our thoughts and then advised us, she was everything and more. We were happy with our offer and we got the home! We had issues securing a lender, not anything on our behalf our Alyssa's. After 2 lenders fell through, I called Alyssa crying because I was afraid we were going to lose our home. She told me that I was done driving, and she had the wheel. That same day, she secured us a lender who had us closed in a week! I just thank God for Alyssa, she even got us in the home prior to closing (we rented from the sellers). I contribute all of that to the business relationships she has with others, because the seller's agent was very understanding and worked with us the entire time. They could have walked away after 3 lenders, but they didn't. I can tell Alyssa loves what she does, it is her passion and not just a job. She is a good person to have on your team and as your real estate agent whether buying, renting, or new to the area! She is a true friend and professional and I look forward to referring my friends her way! I love you Alyssa!
