A little about me. My family has resided in SLO county for many generations. The street Rougeot Place in San Luis Obispo is named after a relative. I grew up in Atascadero involved in baseball, 4H raising award winning livestock and participating on the Judging Team as well as performing in community theatre, choir and band. I returned to the area after a three decade career in entertainment working in front of and behind the cameras with some of the biggest names in entertainment. Giving back to the community, I owed and operated a professional dance training studio, an international workshop and competition, a post-secondary institution offering certificate programs and a performing arts advocacy non-profit corporation. Through our programs I was also a mentor to aspiring new talent helping them to plan and prepare for their careers and set them in motion.
