Sue's Approach To Selling

Sue Rockwell’s extremely individualized and focused approach to selling real estate has earned her unique distinction in her industry, and exceptional results for her clients. In choosing to represent only a select group of clients at a time, she ensures the utmost customized service, detailed care and return on investment for every one of her buyers or sellers.

Achieving success in real estate since 1989, Sue went into the business for all the right reasons. Her main impetus was inspired during the purchase of her own first home which was a “for sale by owner” and the owner disallowed any agent representation. This experience made Sue realize the myriad of complexities and emotions that are inherent in the process, and stirred her desire to help cushion others from these stresses during a time that should be exciting and rewarding.

Area Focused

Sue geographic focus is north and south of the Montlake Cut and she serves discerning sellers and buyers in the Windermere, Laurelhurst, Sand Point, View Ridge, Bryant, Hawthorne Hills, Inverness, Riviera, Broadmoor, Madison Park and Washington Park neighborhoods of Seattle. Working with her, you get her full attention from start to close. Sue is your dedicated partner and advocate who listens intently to your needs, interprets them quickly and accurately, thinks creatively to personalize a plan based on your goals, and takes command of the entire transaction drawing on her knowledge of pricing, marketing and negotiating that she has honed over the 30+ years she has been a realtor.

Before Real Estate

Prior to entering real estate, Sue gained valuable sales expertise in the telecom industry where she learned that effectiveness as a professional comes from providing information and guidance on your clients’ behalf rather than merely selling them a product. “The decisions my sellers and buyers make should be empowered by knowledge and fueled by confidence which I strive to build in all my relationships.”
-
Originally from Tacoma, WA, Sue hails from a family of golfers and was on the boys high school golf team at Clover Park High School and the women’s collegiate team at the University of Washington. Sue currently resides in the Windermere neighborhood with her husband George Rockwell, broker/owner of The Andover Company, a commercial real estate firm located in Tukwila, Washington. The couple’s three children were Catholic School educated at Assumption St. Bridget School, Bishop Blanchet High School, Seattle Preparatory School, Seattle University and Gonzaga University in Spokane. Sue has contributed to various community organizations including board positions for the Windermere Neighborhood Children’s Hospital Guild, the Fran Nordstrom Children’s Hospital Guild, Broadmoor Golf Club Women’s Division, Seattle Womens' Golf Association, Windermere Corporation and Assumption St. Bridget School.

As Summed Up By One of Her Clients...

“I thought selecting a real estate agent would be a daunting task…until I began working with Sue Rockwell of Windermere Real Estate. Sue quickly became my partner who shared my goal of selling my home for the best price possible within a reasonable timeframe. Sue offered seasoned advice but encouraged me to take steps I believed were right. As we arrived at decisions, I always felt I’d been heard and the decision was ultimately mine. I felt confident because I knew I had guidance from an expert who was willing take the extra time and not push for the quick sale. I will always be grateful to Sue for going “above and beyond” in her effort to make sure I was a very satisfied customer.
