My experience/expertise. . .

For the past 30 years, I’ve had the pleasure of serving the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in Snohomish and Skagit counties. My extensive knowledge of the market in this area comes not only from my years as a realtor helping clients from Lynnwood to Lynden, but also from my years of growing up in the northern counties of our state. My specialty areas are residential real estate and vacant land sales.
My credentials include:
• ABR – Accredited Buyer Representative
• GRI – Graduate of Realtor Institute
• CRS – Certified Residential Specialist (a certification held by only 4% of all realtors)
I enjoy increasing my knowledge base by continuing to take courses applicable to my career in the real estate industry. In addition to taking courses, I have also taught classes in our office and appreciate opportunities to share what I have learned through the years to help those who are newer to the business.
While I have the business expertise to successfully handle all aspects of a transaction in a quick and thorough fashion, my greatest joy is working with clients. I’m a people person! My high referral rate for new business owes to the fact that I genuinely care about my Buyers’ needs and listen attentively in order to find just what they are looking for. Once we’ve found the right property, I’m diligent in negotiating the best contracts for them. I am great at overcoming obstacles that can come up, and work well with fellow agents in my market area to find the best solution for my client.
I have the same success in working with Sellers. I am honest and up front with my Sellers regarding the listing price of their property, and as a result, my listings consistently sell because they are priced accurately. I can also offer staging suggestions that will help sell their home more quickly. My marketing strategy and Internet presence are aggressive which provides the largest exposure for the property. Again, because of good working relationships with other agents, I find they are willing to sell my listings.

My goal. . .

I love working with people – both Buyers and Sellers – because I enjoy getting to know the unique interests and needs of each client and the relationships that just naturally develop as you work together. I want to be a source of encouragement as I help guide them to their goals of home ownership. It is very important to me that the entire process, from start to finish, be an enjoyable experience for my client, while at the same time accomplishing their objectives.
My goal is to handle each client’s transaction with the utmost professionalism and expertise, and their needs and concerns with the utmost consideration and care.

On a personal note. . .

I love anything outdoors! Camping, hunting, fishing, riding bikes, yard work. A favorite memory of mine was when I spent 12 days in the wilderness of Alaska with no computers, cell phones, or technology of any kind. A tent, a campfire, good friends, and long, unhurried days of hiking, fishing, and hunting. A wonderful break from the fast-paced world of real estate. I came back refreshed and ready to dive back into helping clients realize their dreams. The best of both worlds!
Times spent with my family are my favorite. I love family get-togethers for birthdays and especially at the holidays. Get all of us crowded into a kitchen fixing Thanksgiving dinner and it gets a little crazy! But, oh, so much fun! I love my family…they’re the best.
I have a huge place in my heart for kids that are hurting. One of my life goals is to help make a difference in their lives by giving of my time, my resources, and my love. I firmly believe that knowing someone cares can turn a life around. I’m a Christian and know that whatever I have to give was first given to me.
