- House and River
Preserved and improved by the current owners, this home was originally constructed during the Great Depression by early pioneers to the Skagit Valley. My personal childhood memories of this home were that of the original builder Charlie Bullock as a retired whip saw & steam donkey logger living out his days in the home he built for himself and his wife. For many years the home had 24” Red Cedar Royal Shingle siding nailed over the exterior of the logs. Because the home had shingles on the exterior logs, the condition of the logs themselves are excellent beyond their years. This property along with the Town of Concrete is rich in history and has retained much of its small town character. The property is currently zoned commercial as per the Town of Concrete's zoning map so other options are available besides using the home as a residence.
