Footnotes
- Namesake
Salmonberry Beach gets it's name from the wild berry found in coastal areas. The berry has a slightly sweet flavor with little seeds inside (like raspberry) and a mild bitter aftertaste. Predominanly yellow... to find a ripe patch of red salmonberries is a particular treat. Of course the beautiful beach was an integral part of naming this community too :-)
