- The Bay
The bay side of Ocean Shores faces east where glorious mornings await you and on a clear day majestic Mt Rainier looms on the horizon, large Spruce trees tower above and our resident Bald Eagles soar over head. You may even catch sight of a family of racoons digging clams for that mid day snack if your lucky.

- The Canals
The 23 miles of freshwater canals in Ocean Shores make this community a one of a kind paradise! Wildlife abounds in and around the canals as they weave their way through the community connecting with Lake Minard and eventually Duck Lake itself fishermen enjoy tosing out their line for both Trout and Bass.

- The Lakes
There are two lakes within the City limits in Ocean Shores. The larger of the two Duck Lake lies just west of the Bay and some homes actually have a view of both! There are 3 public parks with two boat launches and picnic facilities on Duck Lake.

- The Jetty
The big rock jetty located at the most southern tip of the Ocean Shores Penninsula is a magnificent place to watch the sunrise over the harbor and then set over the Pacific Ocean in the evening. Wildlife abounds in this area, watch for the whales migrating in October and April and the majestic Brown Pelicans in the summer months or throw your crab pot over the side and bring home some dungeness for dinner!
