LEED for Multi-Family
LEED for Multi-Family

Today, more than 80% of the population of the United States lives in cities. As density in urban areas continues to grow, we have to find more sustainable ways to build our homes, our schools and our stores. We need approaches to construction that conserve materials, resources and energy and take less of a toll on the natural environment.

Green building programs, like the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), provide a means to quantify and measure our success in doing just that.

In this seminar, we will examine the rise of green building in the marketplace, learn to identify sustainable features and explore how sustainability is incorporated into multifamily residences through LEED® for New Construction.
